Description:
1. All aspects of database administration including installation, configuration, upgrades, capacity planning, performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
2. Support multiple instances (Production, Test, QA, and Development) of Oracle EBS 12, Fusion Middleware (SOA) and Oracle database 11g.
3. Support high availability environment using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, 11g Grid, RMAN, Fusion Middleware (SOA), Parallel Concurrent Processing, ASM, OEM, Diagnostics, Tuning, Configuration, and Provisioning Pack.
4. Review physical data models, coordinate and implement data security requirements, and actively supporting test plans/environments, benchmarks, and statistics.
5. Database and application optimization including performance tuning, query optimization, and supportability.
6. Work closely with ERP & IT project team members; communicate regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff to ensure application and database integrity and security.
7. Perform periodic backups of instances, and perform cloning from source to target instances.
8. Create user accounts and assign access permissions and privileges; Build database schema, tables, indexes, procedures, and permissions.
9. Assist with development of scripts for task automation.
10. Plan growth and changes (capacity planning).
11. Interface with Oracle Support Staff, Contractual, and Offshore Resources for technical support.
12. Support the migration of RICEW objects.
13. Evaluate and manage patch requests from functional and development teams thru the entire landscape.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Computer Information Science, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field (or foreign equivalent degree).
Experience: 5 years of hands-on experience with full life cycle implementation of Oracle applications database administration in Oracle E-business Suite (EBS) R11 or R12; 5 years of experience with Oracle EBS database performance and tuning, and Oracle modules SOA, RAC and RMAN.
