Summary
Coaches and mentors the management team of multiple sites in the successful implementation of process improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles. Implement proven best practices across operations through effective project management, mentoring, coaching, and facility hand-off. Facilitate change activity including kaizen
events
and training workshops. Training principles to all employees as requested and required. (Relocation provided).
Accountabilities
Champion lean strategy and provide hands-on support and any necessary training during implementation
Lead effort to implement best practices across plants and/or divisions, ensuring adherence to the principles of lean manufacturing
Assist and mentor plant management and CI teams with planning and facilitation of strategic plans, kaizen workshops, and other lean activities
coach
and train plant leaders in lean manufacturing and problem-solving principles
Follow-up with operations ensuring successful implementation of Future State plans
Qualifications:
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Highly developed problem solving and project management skills
Consultative skills
Ability to deliver training to large groups - experience preferred
Experience with change management principles and demonstrated ability to drive and manage the change process
Demonstrated facilitation and coaching skills
Familiar with diverse manufacturing processes
Demonstrated capability to learn product lines and manufacturing processes
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Negotiation and selling skills to support change management
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks
Demonstrated conflict management skills
Ability to setup, track, and document results as required

Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
7
years experience in manufacturing/operations role
5
years of proven experience with lean manufacturing
Willingness and ability to travel overnight 50% or as required
Experience leading several kaizen events
Experience training employees in a manufacturing environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
