Job Overview:
As a member of the New Product Development Department, this Gas/Diesel Product Engineer is primarily responsible for determining root cause OEM failures, creating bill of materials, reverse engineering specifications, work with Design Engineers/3D Print Specialist to create tools and/or parts, write work instructions, build prototypes and train production.

Responsibilities:
nn Familiar with gas/diesel engine applications n Perform failure mode analysis of gas/diesel engines to determine root cause n Look for opportunities to improve product n Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word &a; Power Point n Maintain detailed records of projects n Some travel may be required n n
Qualifications:
Looking for a candidate with strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
A highly collaborative mindset and an ability to work independently in a team environment, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced rapidly changing atmosphere.
Must be detail oriented and able to make decisions.
Knowledge and ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Tools including Excel.
Prefer an individual who has auto dealer/garage experience and/or completed auto trade school or a Mechanical Engineering degree.
