Read an asset tag to determine if raw materials meet product specifications or have the ability to learn Assemble components and apply pre-cut fabric covers to exposed frames using appropriate gauges, screws, glues, staples, hardware and tools Ability to become proficient in use of air tools Ability to execute assembly process accurately to asset tag and CTQ specifications Ability to lift and maneuver 25
lbs throughout the upholstery process Have the ability to identify non-conforming parts and follow procedures to notify appropriate personnel.
Support and contribute to internal programs such as 6S, Safety and Quality teams.
Proven history or ability to demonstrate safe / responsible behavior, and a positive performance record (including attendance) Skills Needed:
Read and comprehend required documents Lift parts and maneuver in-process furniture 25
lbs Stand/Walk on hard surfaces (concrete floors) for 8
hours Understand and practice assembly processes Ability to become proficient in use of air tools including staple guns, screwdrivers, etc.
Have an eye for Quality and finishing touches Support and engage in our programs including Stamp in Quality, Behavior Based Safety and 6S Ability to adapt and manage change Be team oriented Pay based on experience.
